Eurofun Group's founders Walter Schmid and Herbert Würtinger began offering their own cycling tours back in 1991 under the brand Eurobike. Over the following 25 years, they founded and acquired new brands to expand their offering. Today, the Eurofun Group owns over ten travel brands and offers a wide range of guided tours all across Europe. From bikes, to hikes, to boats and yoga, Eurofun is committed to developing the tried and trusted tour service and delivering memorable holidays for their customers.
Eurofun, together with Pixelart, use Magnolia to support their Eurobike, Eurohike, Eurotrek, Rückenwind, Bering Travel, Velociped, Active Scandinavia, SE Tours, Active on Holiday, and Espace Randonée brands.

The Challenge
Managing digital growth
Then ten brands within the Eurofun Group each have their own identity and customer base, and they all need to have the freedom to best serve those markets, and as more of the travel business has moved online their content needs have grown hugely. However, the whole organization needs to maintain a common technical architecture to manage costs and build efficient workflows. Eurofun faced a huge challenge in building a platform that would allow each brand to grow and innovate autonomously without spiraling costs and complexity for the Group as a whole.
Building seamless customer experiences
Like any modern travel company, Eurofun’s brands require more than just content management . They need to be able to easily integrate live offers, booking services, and customer support to deliver the tools and services their customers expect.
The Solution
Ten brands, one content hub
Magnolia powers all Eurofun’s brand sites via a multi-tree setup. The ability to run multiple domains enabled Eurofun to keep their brands aligned by consolidating their content base for all brands into a single content hub. Over 80,000assets are stored in Cloudinary and seamlessly integrated into Magnolia. From Magnolia, authors from each brand can create content and publish it on their designated brand sites. Making multiple different languages available for each site’s respective region is simple in this setup, authors just have to add the languages they require to their respective branch.

Driving bookings year round
Of course, great content management only matters if it’s driving bookings. That’s why it was key for Eurofun to easily integrate its existing booking tool, Tourbook, into the Magnolia and implement it across all of their brand’s sites.
The Result
Efficient and effective multi-brand management
Magnolia consolidated over 12,000pages into a single content hub for all of Eurofun’s brand sites. With master editors managing permissions and activity within the multi-tree setup, Eurofun was able to greatly reduce the resources required for managing their brands’ digital presence.
Implementing Magnolia not only resulted in a more efficient solution, but also one that gave Eurofun a platform to build on and deliver complete customer experiences.
