When managing large websites, content will inevitably be moved or removed at some point. An error occurs if a client tries to access content using an outdated link.
The Link Mapper extension allows content authors to:
- Track 404 Not Found errors in real time
- Configure redirects (200, 302, 301, 410)
- Prevent future 404 Not Found errors
As each client request goes through the filter chain, the next time the URL is called, the client will receive the redirect.
